As I left for an early afternoon walk I decided to take my camera and started shooting pics on my way down the steps. Here's a few of the 93 pictures I snapped in one and a half hours - couldn't believe it!
Lobelia - fragile looking but so hardy. This little fellow comes up every year and greeted me sweetly today as I walked down the steps of our front yard.
The mini rose a few steps down has plenty to offer but not fragrance!
Autumn Sedum - next to the roses - I was surprised it still looked as good as it did since we've had very much rain already this month.
This dainty yellow flower is amazing. Don't know the name of this plant-I think it may be of the succulent family since it's extremely drought tolerant and is perfect along the edge of this flower bed. I've tried planting many different kinds of flowers here but this one is the keeper. So glad...and looking at it's flowerlets - so diminuative yet so full and cheery.
