This is what our outdoor thermometer showed at 9:30 this morning, the last day of autumn. Tomorrow is December 21, the shortest day of the year and the first day of official winter - winter solstice. The past few days have been bright and sunny so the days don't seem that much shorter - very nice. Let's see if tomorrow will bring the large snowfall that has been predicted for the past 24 hours.

Brrr. That is cold. Not to rub it in or anything, but the weat her here is staying hot at a steady 30 degrees and that is on the plus side. You, however, have a white Christmas and we don't. Lots of love.
